In the walled garden, there are Mediterranean borders filled with warm colours, symmetrical vegetable plots, and ornamental fruit cages. The lavender terrace consists of an informal, contemporary parterre housing magnificent Tulip displays followed by innovative bedding schemes.

Other features include long herbaceous borders, an eighty-acre Arboretum of rare specimens, a knot garden, a fountain garden, a yew terrace, a stumpery, densely planted Bamboo garden, and an impressive Water Meadow.

All the garden buildings, gates, and walls have been cleverly designed to look natural and harmonious. A well-stocked nursery selling a range of carefully selected perennials is on site for you to visit.
