A beautiful and well-stocked border leading to a large Cedar tree.

Cedar House Gardens

Since 1978 David and Sandra Burbidge have developed their six-acre garden and arboretum around some lovely mature trees, including a magnificent Cedar of Lebanon, after which their home is named.

Over the years the Burbidge family have created an arboretum containing many unusual trees and have a particularly fine Acer Palmatum collection.

Other features include a Garden of Reflection which houses contemporary sculpture, a peacock garden that has a striking and bold colour palette, a stumpery, and fantastic woodland gardens. Their latest project has been the creation of their water meadow garden which includes a central wildlife pond, beautiful glasshouse, and a series of raised vegetable beds.

This truly diverse and extensive array of plants, habitats, features, and ‘rooms’ will stimulate all senses and create a few hours of escapism. You’ll be transported to a different world.

Cotswold Garden Tours introduces you to the passions of a dedicated couple and a very warm welcome awaits.
